My brother Oliver is an artist like me. But unlike me, he excels at things like drawing and painting. While I enjoy these activities, they are clearly part of Oliver’s day to day life as an artist.
He’s been working on a body of work that i find really exciting and inspiring. He creates small drawings of characters that he’s invented, and collects old thrift store frames to house them. I think the old and vintage frames add a lot of depth and character to the simple line drawings.

His current lot of these drawings is around 45, and he hopes to accomplish a group of 100! I’d love to see them in a mass on one wall, or even a giant drawing combining all the characters.
Also of interest is a video of one of his kinetic sculptures. You can see it on YouTube.
